Job Overview

Build A Head is seeking a meticulous and experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team in Burlington, North Carolina. This is a full-time position, central to our mission of bringing smiles, excitement, and creativity to every celebration. At Build a Head, we create unforgettable moments with our custom big heads and life-size standups. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise management and organisation of our warehouse inventory, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy to support our unique production process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends, optimise stock levels, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Liaise with procurement, production, and sales departments to forecast demand and prevent stock shortages or overages.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all inventory movements using our inventory management software.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or inventory control role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant computer systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
