The successful candidate will be a cornerstone of our firm, ensuring that our internal operations run smoothly and efficiently, thereby enabling our consulting teams to deliver outstanding results to our diverse client base. This role is fundamental to sustaining our growth and maintaining our competitive edge.
This position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the firm's internal processes and infrastructure. Your key duties will include:
- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and support the company's strategic goals.
- Managing day-to-day business operations to ensure a productive and effective work environment.
- Overseeing resource planning and allocation for consulting projects to ensure optimal utilisation of staff.
- Supporting project delivery by monitoring timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators in collaboration with project leaders.
- Analysing operational performance and preparing reports for senior management with data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Acting as a central point of contact between various departments, including finance, HR, and consulting teams, to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
- Managing relationships with key vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensuring the firm's compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational expertise, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. Essential qualifications include:
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager role or a similar position, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
- A strong understanding of core business functions, including project management, finance, and human resources.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrable ability to analyse data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
- Proficiency with business management software, such as CRM or ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
