Job Overview

This is a Full-Time position based in West Virginia, United States. The successful candidate will be a key part of our administrative team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the district. The offered salary for this position is $25 - $35 USD per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.



Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior staff, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and organise student and staff records with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Assist in the organisation and coordination of school events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Manage office supplies, place orders, and ensure the office is well-equipped.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and mailing.
  • Liaise with parents, students, and other stakeholders, providing information and assistance as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role. Experience within an educational or public sector setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in office administration are an advantage.
