Job Summary
The Facilities Plant Operator will operate and monitor electromechanical plant and building systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation across assigned facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor mechanical and electromechanical plant.
- Monitor HVAC, air-conditioning, and cooling systems.
- Monitor and operate BMS systems.
- Conduct routine plant inspections and operational checks.
- Identify equipment abnormalities and technical faults.
- Escalate maintenance requirements to technical teams.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and records.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electromechanical disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
- 3 years' experience as a Plant Operator within schools and kindergartens.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and cooling systems.
- Good knowledge of electromechanical operational requirements and BMS systems.
- Relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- English required; Arabic preferred.
