Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling and Management: Design, develop, and maintain data models and data marts.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and consistency through data profiling and cleansing.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Collaborate with data engineers to establish robust data pipelines.
  • Advanced Analytics: Conduct in-depth data analysis, build predictive models, and perform time series analysis.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create high-quality data visualizations (dashboards, reports) and develop interactive dashboards to enable self-service analytics.
  • Data Self-Service Platform: Manage and maintain the data self-service platform (e.g., Metabase) to empower business users.
  • Data Governance: Adhere to data governance policies and security best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate data analysis tasks and workflows using scripting languages like Python.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar).
  • Strong understanding and experience with data warehousing and data lakes.
  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and simulation models
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
