Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of People & Talent to drive our people strategy, lead talent acquisition, and cultivate a strong company culture. This role will be responsible for everything from hiring top-tier talent to fostering a culture that aligns with our values and growth ambitions. If you are passionate about shaping an exceptional workplace, driving talent strategies, and making a real impact in a Dubai born fintech, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, ensuring we attract and hire the best fintech talent.
- Develop a proactive talent pipeline and sourcing strategy for key roles.
- Optimize our hiring processes, leveraging data-driven recruitment methods.
- Build SmartCrowd’s employer brand to attract top talent in the UAE and beyond.
People & Culture
- Design and implement people strategies that align with SmartCrowd’s mission and growth.
- Cultivate a strong, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
- Develop and execute employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs.
- Support leadership with talent development, career growth, and succession planning.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with UAE labor laws and best practices.
- Oversee onboarding, performance management, and professional development programs.
- Manage HR systems, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on talent acquisition in fintech startups or high-growth companies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
