That’s why we’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Public Policy intern to join our team.
You’ll get to flex your muscles with hands-on experience in research, tracking, and engagement of stakeholders and events organized by the Public Policy team where you will gain practical skills, and real-world exposure that will set you apart in today's competitive job market.
Regulatory Engagement and Innovation Advocacy:
-Organizing background materials and policy briefs for meetings.
-Attending meetings as an observer to learn about stakeholder engagement strategies.
Operational Bottleneck Analysis:
-Assisting in data collection relevant to ongoing policy projects.
-Preparing visual summaries of data trends for team discussions.
Regulatory Compliance:
-Compiling and organizing compliance-related documents required for compliance audits.
-Tracking updates in regulations that affect Thndr's operations.
Policy Communication and Brand Integrity:
-Helping in drafting communications and updating key informational resources for internal communications.
-Regularly updating FAQs to reflect current policy positions and operational realities.
Gaining an understanding of stakeholder engagement processes.
Developing communication skills through interaction with stakeholders.
Learning data collection techniques and best practices as well as gaining experience in data analysis and summarization.
Understanding the importance of regulatory compliance in business operations.
Gaining practical experience by observing regulatory processes and procedures.
Gaining an understanding of the importance of policy communication in maintaining brand reputation and integrity.
Preferably studying public policy, economics or any related field.
Passionate and curious learner with genuine interest in the world of public policy, research, or government affairs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent research and strong analytical skills.
Experience in research or data analysis and prior involvement in advocacy or governmental relations is a plus.
