Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Specialist at Toothpick in Cairo, Egypt. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for physical inventory management, inventory control, and communication with suppliers and internal teams. The role also includes providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory within the warehouse or storage facility.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, maintain records, and generate reports.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and aging stock.
  • Participate in the implementation of new inventory management tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Physical Inventory, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management skills
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in inventory management systems and processes
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
