Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Analyse existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, including setting clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations. Motivate and inspire team members to achieve targets and deliver high-quality results
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support operational objectives and meet business demands
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage projects to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control standards to maintain product or service quality. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify deviations and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage deliveries, and maintain positive relationships. Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements when necessary.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and aiding as needed. Implement strategies to improve service levels and exceed customer expectations
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure adherence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by encouraging innovation, experimentation, and learning. Engage stakeholders at all levels to solicit feedback and drive positive change.

Who We're Looking For

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in progressively responsible positions.
    • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive operational improvements.
    • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
