The HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations, implementing safety standards, and fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental sustainability across NEOM operations. This role ensures operational safety in line with TruKKer's vision while safeguarding employees, assets, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and practices across NEOM operations.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Coordinate incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs and tool-box talks for staff and drivers.
- Drive awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Maintain training records in compliance with TruKKer's standards.
- Establish and maintain emergency response plans for all NEOM sites.
- Conduct drills for fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities for emergency management when required.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation for audits.
- Track and report KPIs on safety performance, incident frequency, and compliance levels.
- Support management with timely reports and risk analysis.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in logistics, construction, or large-scale operations.
- Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia (mandatory); NEOM project exposure is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA).
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification (mandatory).
- High accountability and ownership mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
