Nature is a rich source for potential treatments, with 84% of central nervous system small-molecule therapeutics being inspired by natural compounds, despite less than 1% of nature’s small molecules having been explored. To tap into this vast potential, we utilize AI to identify and develop promising neuroactive molecules from medicinal plants.
Our AI platform, PangeAITM, integrates technology across computational metabolomics, generative AI, cheminformatics, and knowledge graphs to efficiently discover therapeutic compounds from nature. Designed for scalable drug discovery, our platform facilitates the selection of therapeutically relevant species, automates chemical composition analysis of these species, and identifies potential therapeutic effects in humans.
Our lead program, a proprietary small molecule targeting the TrkB receptor — a pivotal neuroplasticity regulator— will enter Phase 1 trials in Q1-2025, and shows compelling data across schizophrenia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. We are continuing to scale our pipeline of drugs via AI-driven discovery and development programs focused on a wide space of neurological conditions.
Our team has a successful track record of founding and building neuroscience and technology companies, including $CMPS, $ATAI, GW Pharma (sale to Jazz), and Healx.
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Manager Business Development & Operations position in our team – based in London, UK, with flexibility for hybrid working. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
