About the Role:
If you get excited by building efficient, scalable platforms that enable new businesses to succeed, this is the perfect role for you. You get to work at the intersection of moving economies through inland and port freight and manage key marketplace stakeholders in a fast-paced environment in an effort to drive a step-change in the industry.
You shall be heading a strong team of Account Managers that are in charge of Trella’s portfolio of shippers that request inland trucking transportation to and from KSA’s ports, with the ultimate goal of landing the company’s vision for complete industry disruption to these shippers, providing an unparalleled level of service. You will play a vital role in the growth of the Ports vertical, providing key insights towards the direction for our strategic expansion.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of Account Managers / Sales Executives to the fulfillment of the vertical’s collective goals.
- Set, communicate, monitor, and record team KPIs.
- Build a structure, through people, processes, and systems, to efficiently scale while raising the bar of execution.
- Liaise with supporting functions for the successful implementation of the team’s collective vision (CommOps, Finance, People, Sales, Marketing, and Product/Tech).
- Own the success metrics for new and existing shippers’ targets, pipeline generation, closing, expansion, profitability, and collection.
- Own the customer experience and customer success journey of all customers within the cluster.
- Participate in the development, implementation and automation of critical business processes and tools used to track sales process, forecasting, pipeline management and performance.
- Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges.
- Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement.
- Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team.
- Be resourceful, scrappy, and get things done.
What You'll Need:
- Education | Bachelor’s Degree
- Work Experience | 5+ years of experience of Proven Experience - Has a consistent track record of quota attainment as a leader and as an individual contributor.
- Sales, Supply chain, and digital products are a plus.
- Dedicated - Has a strong attitude towards getting things done and is passionate towards driving the vertical to achieve its collective goals.
- Innovative - Adopts a mindset that is focused on doing things better, faster, and more efficiently.
- Agile - Has the ability to collaborate, accommodate, and work with a highly diverse set of customers, transportation partners, and internal partners in an ever-changing, and extremely fast-paced, environment.
- Driven - They also need to have an impeccable work ethic, combined with an exemplary standard for the quality of work they provide.
- Challenging - Is inclined to challenging status quos, suggesting alternative solutions that lead to better overall performance.
